I normally steer clear of politics but...

I view Trump, Boris and the likes of Salvini and Le Pen as a consequence. When the left no longer represent the working man, they turn to the right.

We are now in a situation where its either hard brexit or Marxism. Can we view that as consequence of failing to agree a compromise?

The brexit debate reminds me of the world sauna championships. A Finn and a Russian are in in the final. There is no way the Finn is getting out before the Russian. I wont lose to him. The Russian thinks the same. The Russian dies of a heart attack and the Finn was hospitalised with full-body burns. Did the Finn win or did they both lose?
