what happens if the cut-off line is "straddled" by a family? do the family get binned off and the avail slots backfilled by individuals? of course this will happen as they can hardly bin off already accepted individuals. at best they could ringfence some seats and shuffle them around to suit the club so they maximise revenue. so the system is by defintion discriminatory.
