So most coaches will use questioning and listening skills and a structure to guide their approach, in order to help you work out where you want to get to or what you want to change, what's stopping you from doing it, a strategy for how to get past those barriers and some kind of test of your commitment to that strategy. They don't instruct or give guidance or answers or even much of an opinion. It's a lot like counselling, but more focused on the future and getting s**t done.
