it's not really fair that a guy who hasn't been to a Championship game for decades

but quite fancies a trip to Old Trafford or Anfield can pay his £50 and have the same chance at an away ticket as a season ticket holder or a guy who went to 9 away matches last season - who also have to pay the £50.

There is no need to have such a hard cut-off. There wasn't one with the old points system. It's possible to reward more levels of loyalty than just the superfans and the casuals.
