Wrath sartorial advice required

I have been busy updating my work wardrobe + my 'going out' clothes and I'm most happy with the results.

The next stage in my middle age (I'm 49) is to bin all my old tshirts that I have accumulated over the years (especially those that no longer work with my extended 'dad bod') and replace them with black tshirts a la Ricky Gervais.

However I'm going to buy black tshirts with music / culture references on them.

I dont want to go full cliche (unknown pleasures, et al). That said I am in France and they might not be so well known here...

Suggestions please!

I'm going for Junglist Massive of off the old Human traffic, and a classic Norther Soul one for starters. I'll probably get the motorhead skull soon too.
