(and I will acknowledge the hypocrisy coming from me) this *is* a football board and not a politics discussion board, so it would be odd if every topical story got discussed.

But for the record the bulk of those protesters seem to be homophobic bigoted khunts, and more than a few are perpetrating hate crimes so should be feeling the full force of the law.
