You are totally wrong

In my opinion.

It wasn't a view that some people just disagreed with, it was an unpleasant view which denigrated the lives of many people.

The fact that it was posted in response to a horrible act of violence on a lesbian couple made it even worse and likely inspired more anger.

Yes some people replied quite aggressively but I'm not in a position to judge why they did so. Many were probably justifiably very angry, others just swear a lot anyway and some might have just been trying to get more of a reaction. The latter isn't great but surely is expected in a message board.

I (and from the look of it on here many other fans) would like football to be muhh more welcoming of gay fans and players. Challenging these views (online and in person) is one way to helping do that.
