One thing you can be certain of.....If the player linked is going for huge money and probably wants huge wages then its probably 100% bulls**t.
The only "big money" signings in terms of outlays will probably be loans.

Like the Rhodes situation. We don't mind loaning players and covering "expenses" but once we need that player to sign on a permanent. They must sign a contract within the current wage structure at the club.
If we break that then its a huge trickle down effect on all the other players. Webber pretty much said as much recently.
