I really wish I'd listened to my dad more when he wanted to talk about it

(ALL the time it seemed to me as a teenager - when I was fighting the Punk Wars by the way!) Actually, also my grandad who saw action in the First World War, I was just not interested! I did an assembly a few weeks ago telling the children how important it was they listened to the older people in their families and the stories they have to tell.

I can see why your dad's flashbacks made such an impact. Cheers to our dads.
