... there is a human being at the end of this. To you it may just be sounding off on social media but to someone trying to do their job against the backdrop of (frequently mis- or uninformed) ‘supporters’ claiming they’re rubbish, should be sacked and place their own interests above the club they’re working for, it’s annoying at least and downright offensive at worst. I’ve read all of that and much worse. The words that appear in here and other sites DO get read by players and employees of the club alike and fair enough, if you can say honestly that it wouldn’t affect you in their position, that’s fine, but it doesn’t give you the right to say they should feel the same way. They’re just people at the end of the day and they will react as is their right.

Ultimately you’re saying it should be water off a duck’s back to them, and then you will often attribute motives, to Webber especially, that you have no evidence for. You may be right, who knows? But it certainly isn’t fair.

I’m not trying to pick a fight, it just strikes me that we judge these people by impossible standards and then react negatively when they aren’t met.

And also nowhere near enough innuendo in this post.
