Think all he is saying is that right now

It's the wrong time to leave (club in midst of new season prep etc)

Coincidently it's also the wrong time to start a new DOF role somewhere.

Once season kicks off, who knows. He will have done his bit to set us up and it's then over to Farke. That might not be a bad time to move on if that's what he is going to do.
