It wasn't Delia's statement that niggled me,

it's the timing that stinks. Now that the season tickets are safely gathered in, she can put her head over the parapet. If we get mullered at Elland Rd on Saturday, (quite possible), the atmosphere for Sheff U will be s**te. And if we fail to perform in that match as well, the manure will fly. Indeed, there may even be an improved atmosphere for this game, but that will probably be because of Colin Wanker's presence rather than anything Delia "Thatcher" Smith has said. I hope she realises this.
I can take a defeat to Leeds only if we've had a good go at them. A no-show will worsen the situation. If we lose both the next two games for not competing, the cold atmosphere of late will be NOTHING compared to what's coming for the remaining, nothing to play for games. I like to hope that Delia will have "words" with Worthy and the players before they depart for Leeds and impress on them that for their part, an improvement is critical on Saturday. It's fine bollocking us, but let them have some as well. The "game" is the biggest thing for improving the atmosphere in a ground. A torpid game equals a torpid atmosphere. So you players, get stuck in, we will respond, even if it means a draw or defeat. Oh, and Delia, if by chance you read this, NEVER EVER send Bloody Barry Skipper out again to do your dirty work.
