I’m not sure what to think of that.

One the one hand I don’t want the media to be swamped with banal utterances from every player (any more than it is already), creating a myriad of rumours and counterclaims; but the lack of transparency is also a concern as it might offer a microcosm of press coverage of wider affairs.
