guys is for the first time in my life making me think if moving forward I want to continue to follow professional football to the extent I always have done.
Our season last year was a bit of an antidote to it all but then you get back in the prem and you look at what they are earning and it just makes you sick.
Aaron Ramsey an example that got to me. I've got nothing against him personally, he's probably a nice bloke but he's basically an above average footballer and he's going to be paid £400,000 a week to play football. That's kicking a ball around on a piece of grass.
I know the answer to this is supply and demand but it just seems so, so wrong that these guys get paid so much for something that is fundamentally a game and get treated like royalty/VIPs wherever they go as if they are better than the rest of us when so many hugely talented or highly skilled people working in "proper jobs" that are generally way more important to society struggle to get by. Same goes for many modern "celebrities." It just feels wrong.
