Who cares?

We are Premier League. They are League One. Much as they like to think everyone remembers them a) at all, and b) fondly, other than locals a) is restricted to people late forties or over and b) to people who live in Ipswich or near it. They’re a generation from being completely forgotten. School kids in Ipswich itself who are any good pull on Norwich shirts because it’s our club that runs all the coaching infrastructure down there, not theirs. In the same way that kids from Gorleston or Acle or Lynn grow up knowing there’s a local team but towering over all is Norwich - give it a generation and that’s what Ipswich will be like too.
