If she does it's not at all clear that the next Tory leader automatically becomes PM

Remember the Tories are a minority administration propped up by DUP votes on a confidence and supply basis. It would only take a few on the Tory left/Tories in strong Remain seats not to back a hard Brexiteer like Raab or BJ for the Queen legitimately to have to ask whoever wins of the two (it won't be anyone else) to prove they have the votes.

I'd back an election this year tbh.
