Overly simplistic way of looking at things though ...

Would need to look at accounts etc and ascertain what market value of city’s squad is. Can’t think of too many players where value has gone down. Most of their players would be worth lots more than the purchase price if they needed to sell Silva, sane, Sterling, de Bruyne etc
