Non-techy response

That's (obviously) a very basic machine but it works just fine for school-related stuff (MyMaths, Word etc), internet, streaming etc. If they want Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) it's extra. And I bought a "renewed" one i.e. refurbished because that's a great way to get good value whatever kind of laptop you buy, they're genuinely as good as new.
