I got a Chromebook for my 13yo and so far so good - no touch screen but cheap - User Posted Link is what I got, note it's lying about the O365 subscription, there isn't one included, just the OneDrive space (This is not an issue for us as I have a 5-slot licence for O365 anyway and can just allocate junior one of my licences from that). That's (obviously) a very basic machine but it works just fine for school-related stuff (MyMaths, Word etc), internet, streaming etc.
