All the current shennanighans aside, you do wonder for how much longer they are going to be involved with us at the level they are presently at, especially with the pressure and expectation growing as it is.
MWJ looks like a man who would like a quiet life on the golf course and in his garden now, not at the sharp end of a demanding football club-of course, he may love the pressure and the daily cut and thrust, as might Delia, but you do wonder if they ever think about having a good few quality years together without all the aggro-joint Life Presidents or something, so they can enjoy supporting and being involved with the club, without the hassle that being the "owners" entails?
What, I wonder, is the future, post Michael and Delia?
What would they do with their shares, keep them for life, sell them to a new investor, put them all on the open market-interesting possibilities. It may not be relevant for many years yet, however, it could be not that far off either. Would they entertain a new investor right now if he/she came along? Are the club looking that far ahead? Or is it a case of taking each day as it comes?
