"not found the right one"

better to have one who is adequate than none at all. Which just reiterates my opinion that we have been acquiring players based on Worthy's opinion of them as individuals, not how they might fit together as a team into any sort of coherent strategy.

If your tactics need a wide right midfielder then you should get one, not just acquire a bunch of players who you like and then force them into positions where they don't belong. Players should fit your preferred strategy, you shouldn't cobble together a 'strategy' based on what players you have randomly collected.

This highlights Worthy's huge limitations as a tactician, and why he just keeps repeating the "hard work" mantra. He doesn't have the footballing brain for anything else.
