Funny how things turn out

Do you remember when Lambert was being touted as the next Liverpool manager? When it looked like Celtic wanted him and the talk was that he was too good for them? Even that he might have his eye on being the next Fergie at Man Utd, if he could get a club after us where he could have a crack at winning something.

All that potential was just foam on the sea, destined to never amount to anything. So so many s**t career decisions along the way. Should never have gone to Villa when he did and it’s been a rapid downward spiral since.

He now ooks like a shadow of the man he was. And his behaviour today was just, well, embarrassing. Drunk uncle fighting at a family wedding, while all the other adults roll their eyes.

Thanks always for the memory of those three seasons. But he’s nothing to me now. No animosity. Just. Nothing.
