I think there was bad blood with mcnally and bowkett, the rest I think is him just trying to stir the pot ahead of the game. Take the pressure off his players in some way by making himself the centre of attention.

I don’t think he’s sentimental. We did well; he did well. He got the move to a big club that he wanted.
