The problem is that I don't feel that the board have any intention of changing things whatever happens Barry Skipper said that he would still be manager if we were in the conference - obviously he is exaggerating but it doesn't sound like they are even considering a change this season.
I would be happy to see things out until the end of the season as you say (and as always get behind the team) and just see whether we get an improvement then let the board make the decision but I don' t trust their judgement on the football side of things. They didn't want Hamilton to go even though he took us towards relegation. He resigned and they tried to persuade him to stay. If they had kept him, we might never have had the success that we did under Worthington anyway - and, although unlikely, we might have got relegated.
We don't want to go back to a new manager every 6 months but I'm afraid I don't have faith that things will improve next season and I think we need a new manager to try and give us an improvement in performances. I don't think changing the manager will solve all our problems but I think we need a fresh start.
