insomnia is a b***h, if it's a physical injury that is keeping you awake, you need to bite the bullet and take some pain killers. personally i'd rather not [it's a story for another time]
there are 2 specific types of pain killers as there are 2 specific types of pain. i am not saying you know this already but a lot of ppl don't.
as a chronic insomniac, i listen to radio 4 or my mp3 player but not with headphones. apparently the average is 7 mins to get to sleep. for me its 90.
