Press news in...

We have arrived at Colney where Daniel Farke will be soon be speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's game against Sheffield United.

----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: We are excited [for the next three matches]. When there are big games it's exciting and that's what you are looking forward to because you are a competitor when you play football. Sometimes it's a bit exhausting from the mental side but we are happy to have these games.

DF: But all games are more or less season defining, each and every game is massive. We are facing some really strong opponents with Sheffield United, Leeds and the derby, but they are not more significant than other games.

DF: We have to prepare the team in what we want to do with the ball and it's important that we bring our style and strengths on the pitch to make it our game. Of course we want to be as successful as possible.

DF: We played some terrific football [against Birmimgham]. Sometimes you can't always deliver on the highest level because the opponent is able to be competitive as well. But we were unbelievably precise, the decision making was good and we were able to create chances out of possession, counter attacks and from the wings. We try to be there always with the best performance we can deliver and that will be our target against Sheffield.

DF: The style of Birmingham and Sheffield is pretty different. I predict it will be a close game and a really difficult game as Sheffield is a strong side and pretty unique in the way that they play.

DF: Emi Buendia had a dead leg and since the middle of the week he has been back in team training and is availbale for tomorrow. We still have to play without Timm Klose who is starting his rehab and today was the first time he did some running. There is a chance he could be back for Ipswich which is not too bad. There is no need for surgery. Alex Tettey is also not available but could join us in team training on Tuesday and Wednesday so could be a topic for Leeds. We also hope Moritz Leitner will be able to join us in training next week. We could be a topic for Leeds but perhaps Ipswich.

DF: We want to win each and every game, home or away, and the rules are the same. We know the surrounding at home, it's our living room and we have a good atmosphere around us. But even in the away games we also want to be successful.

DF: Carlton Morris has a ligament injury and will be out for about 10 weeks. It's a big blow for him because it was a nasty tackle in the Under-23s game, but this happens in football. It's more or less the same with Louis Thompson with an ACL strain in the Under-23s game, he will be out for 10 weeks too. It's bad news for us and tragic for the two lads, but we have to handle this situation.

DF: In football there are always setbacks and you have to handle it. You have to find your mental strength in order to come back and they know they have a Club which supports them and trusts them and has the skills to bring them back.

DF: We have to stay awake now [in the transfer window]. As a head coach you always look for quality but it's aslo important to analyse the possibilities of the Club. I prefer to work with a smaller crew to tighten the bond with the lads and this is good for the group togetherness. The only concern I have is that we didn't want to have these long term injuries so we have to think if perhaps there is a solution on the winger position we have to stay awake and it would also make sense to have a home grown player because Louis and Carlton were both home grown players.

DF: There is no need to have a striker of the quality of Nelson Oliveira to stay here when there are no plans for him. I hope it goes well for Nelson and I hope he can show the quality he has. He is not allowed to play against us but will play against many of our opponents which will help us. I wish him all the best. There is no final decision on Ivo Pinto at the moment.

DF: Sheffield United played brilliantly last season and with consistency this season so credit to Chris [Wilder]. They are experienced, they have strikers who are able to score, and with their style of playing they are pretty unique in the way they want to use the wings. They play different in comparison to nearly all other teams. We will have to dominate the ball and control the game. It will be crucial that we bring our strengths and make it our game. If we can do this we have a good chance.

DF: They use a lot of wing play so we need to have solutions to this. All of their strikers are able to score and they have so many threats. We want to match them and be there with a good performance.

DF: We are two good teams and two teams with a good philosophy. We play pretty flexible in our style but they play with a clear structure. So it will be which philosophy is more successful. It's always an interesting game and I'm sure it will be tomorrow.

DF: Chris Wilder is doing a fantastic job, they are in a really good position and that is down to him. We are respectful but we are not scared, we want to be competitive and will be there with commitment and desire as well.

DF: The most important things are our tactical work on the training pitch, but we always try to learn out of different things and different sports and interesting people and that's credit to Stuart Webber. When you listen to such a guy [Ant Middleton] you want to go out immediately to tackle, it was a good inspiration and important for speaking about teamwork and handling difficult situations.
