No way would a competent PM get to within weeks of the deadline without any sign of a compromise position emerging.

She decided that Art 50 must be triggered without a negotiating strategy in place, it was her that decided to trigger an unnecessary GE to bolster her position but end up leaving it weaker and beholden to the DUP, it was her contradictory redlines that led to the backstop issue, it was her that appointed a slew of Brexit secretaries that didn't understand the EU, it is her that can't bring herself to countenance anything but her plan.

Now she is either an incredibly cunning very hard brexiteer that has played this all to near perfection, or she is quite simply incompetent.
