a) the intensity of this league and of the EPL are different from what he's used to, and

I think you can see this in the recent dip. He needs to tweak his coaching methods to allow for that. b) He seems not great at firing players up so that they're ready from the whistle - they need some time to get up to speed. They won't get that in the EPL. The post-blackout Derby game was a good example, and it cost us. c) Controlling games isn't just down to the players on the pitch at the time, it's sometimes about injecting energy by making subs. I don't think he always gets that right.

I'm not being over-critical IMO, just saying what I see. And I think he'll learn. He's young, he's got energy and passion, we need to stick with him.
