We tried to get the keys off my dad at 85

He wasn't having it. Loved his driving. Just pottering about locally for a year then had a stroke and that put paid to that.
He died last year at 89 still thinking if he can learn to walk again he could get back into the car... God love him
But we did worry whenever there was an 80 year old on the news who'd ploughed into a bus queue or a shop front...
