I disagree...

Although I believe that it is right for Everton to qualify based on playing to the rules as they stand - I don't believe that Everton are a better side than Liverpool.

This might be a little tangential, but I would assert that Liverpool are infinitely better and yet, having exerted so much physical and emotional energy reaching the European Cup final, just haven't given enough to their Premiership campaign.

If it is about the 'best' teams competing then there is simply no question about it - Liverpool all the way.

Yes, yes, you may claim that finishing above them after 38 games makes Everton more worthy, but I just can't see how anyone can truly believe that the Toffees are better at football!
