of course part of the point of playing Robinson

is to give him a chance to learn to play in front of the England defence - communicating with them etc - in a match situation.

Best would probably be, as suggested above, to give them a half each. But of course Alan Green and others made a fuss about the number of subs, so FIFA made sensible things like this much harder to do.
