On further inspection the most successful under lambert was obviously

Chris Martin. He dabbled with others but most were shipped out. Smith, Adeyemi (another current Judas), Jarvis and Jarvis, crow, Spillane. Also brought through the keepers Rudd and steer but neither were ultimately successful.

He did use a lot of young talented players but they were mostly imported and many on loan - Lansbury, Pacheco, naughton, McNamee, Ayala and many more.
