To be fair though

After we lost to Stoke, it was pretty calm on here (from memory at least). People were gutted we lost, but the all too familiar knee jerkery was missing.

Can't argue with the general point though. Football is an emotional game intut. Therefore we feel the wins and losses in a deep and personal way that limits rational analysis for a while.
