Overreaction is a big problem these days

Everyone is raving now, but in both of the last two games the opposition have hit the woodwork while 1-0 up, so we could easily have had no points from the two games while playing pretty much exactly the same.
Most football games are decided by the odd goal, there aren't many thrashings. People like to think if you lost/won then it means the tactics/team selection must have been wrong/right but in truth you can play the same team & tactics and get totally different results just based on a few inches difference in a few incidents here and there in the game.
Winning/losing doesn't necessarily your whole plan/approach is brilliant or awful. You have to try and step back and look at the bigger picture without becoming TOO obsessed by actual results (which is obviously difficult, but then a lot of worthwhile things are).
