Clarkson left the BBC because he punched someone. Its not the BBC's fault they had to

change presenters.

Apologies if that's not your point, but it astounds me how many people still blame the BBC for Clarkson etc not being there any more.

You punch someone at work, you lose you job.
Regardless of how good you are at it, and Clarkson was good at delivering what Top Gear needed, and the BBC needs to have shows for differing demographics.
