As I say, people only come to me when it’s gone wrong. So I’m jaundiced. And I never see anything below COA level (sorry but true). And HMRC’s strike rate at appellate level is ridiculous.
My philosophical view (FWIW) is that no-one - plumber, lawyer, share trader, oil futures speculator - should gain a tax advantage by doing exactly the same thing through a limited company. I’m glad to see that that view is gaining traction. Easier to discuss over a pint I think!
