Nations League is way better than the friendlies, but we still will have to play those

frustrating, s**t games against San Marino parking every bus in their "country" in front of the goal. Games that we can never win and never enjoy.

That is until UEFA and FIFA decide European qualifiers directly from the Nations League placings, which they won't because then the s**t countries will never qualify (and therefore won't vote for the president in the next elections etc) and until the same system is used in the other confederations then Europe will always have the strongest contingent of teams (not necessarily the strongest single team obviously).

If they did that it would make for superb tournaments but they won't cos they have to keep everybody happy in order to gain votes and "do business" in small states of questionable integrity.
