The second bit of distribution was just a long hopeful punt downfield, which hit Kane’s back and dropped kindly. So not too amazing really.

The first one I just couldn’t decide on. Seeing it live it looked like luck to me - we were trying to build from the back; they were pressing; we had less and less time; it was played back to Pickford fur the second or third time and he was under real pressure with Spain rushing him, so he whacked it. That’s what it looked like at the time. But if he meant to pick out Kane like that ... well, frankly we should try him in midfield!!
