That is how I see it. He is far far too stubborn to resign and won't, no matter what. Even if we had gone down this season, the Board would have been making noises about how he was the "right man" to "get us back to our rightful place in the Championship".

The problem is, I think thats just it, they regard our rightful place as being the Championship!

He (Worthington) and the Board are wound together irrevocably. Either they both go their separate ways or the status quo is maintained. Expect the latter for some considerable time.
