Bookmakers regularly refuse bets, or limit the stakes

If this is even remotely true, it probably went like this:

"have you got odds on the next Norwich manager?"
"no"
"ok, can you quote me odds on big sam please?"
"er... hold on, I'll make a call. How much?"
"£100,000"
".........what?"
£100,000"
"ok, well we won't take that, you can have £10 at 6/1"
