"claiming that they are lying about the reason for his departure."

No I wasn't. I was pointing out that you were being spiteful and bilious before the facts were known. Now the facts are known, you are still being spiteful and bilious. Plenty of others thought the wording implied personal/health reasons and it was reported that this had also been mooted on Radio Norfolk. Yet you still went straight for the jugular without waiting to learn the facts.

It's very possible to question whether the new arrangements are a good idea or not without being spiteful or bilious. Read below. Quite a lot of posters have done so.

Yet your first reaction now is to come on and have a go at those who questioned your tone. You feel vindicated in being extremely unpleasant just because he didn't resign for personal reasons.

Isn't this just the kind of thing APB and OG were talking about recently?

It's possible to hold different views from someone else without being what you're being.

No more from me on this. I have better things to do than argue with you. But maybe try to take on board that a lot of people have talked about the tone of this board and your post was a really good example of the problem. Quite a lot of posters seemed to agree with that perspective. Don't flounce but maybe consider your tone? Just a thought.
