mobile telephone query: how much giggerbites is enough?

BT have given me three giggerbites on my phone which has a 32 giggerbite engine, as far as i understand this s**t anyway. do i need a 32 giggerbite phone or is it a waste of money and just get a 3 giggerbite one? or is the 32 giggerbitage where the phone puts all my photos and s**t? or can i make the phone engine bigger by putting one of little memory chip card things in? thank you.
