We're London so yeah, congestion charging has been a way of life forever...

...thing is I occasionally drive to DIY centres, pick up the Mrs up from Liv St or such like but most of the time it's TFL, Shanks' pony or pushbike. The car comes in to its own for UK hols or like drives to Norfolk. Anything that's electric makes me worry the moment I leave the smoke or a bigger town, city, I'll be worried about making it home on a longer journey...

I like your colour purchasing theory tho. Of which I'm with Henry Ford every time...
