I think assuming the online persona is the same as the offline personality is a big leap

I think that many become the worst versions of themselves online, without anything to mediate their behaviour.

In reality if many posters on opposite sides of the political fence had first met face to face, rather than on the wrath, then I think the outcomes would have been very different.

I am sure we have all had friends with different political ideologies, but we dont resort to name calling.

We all do it on here, and it doesnt do any of us any favours.
