A lot of them did indeed display the "pimp limp" which they thought was a badge of

honour, and indeed the name then changed from the Cribs to the Crips.

Crip walk is a dance move though. Not that it matters (just that somebody asked) because it does indeed look ridiculous and is well worth laughing at unless it turns out to be a proper Crip who decides to put a cap in one's ass.
