But its also notoriously difficult to prove historic allegations like these even where they are true, so cant see an investigatipn doing anything other than clearing his name.

So its odd that he doesnt want that opportunity to clear his name, except when you consider that this is his one and only shot at it so he is putting career ahead of his own reputation or that of the SC

Ridiculous that such appointments are so party political.
