Not really sure. i think it was just because the crowd felt his birdie chance

was a complete injustice given he should have been in the water and Europe would probably have won the match rather than the US winning the hole and squaring it up.

If you haven;t seen how his ball got there it really was incredible luck but that's not really his fault!

I don;t like the booing though just as I don;t really like the cheering when the other team put it in the water or a bunker. Not really sporting/golf etiquette.
