Where to begin with that!

Ultimately a good win and had Srbenny scored his sitter or the ref not given that pen (which to me looked dodgy) we probably would have won by several goals but as it was it was a bit close for comfort.

The positives are that as an attacking force we looked slick and confident and Rhodes was right at the top of his game. Given it was essentially a second string it shows the depth in the squad this season.

The biggest negative obviously some of he defending which bordered on horrific at times. Far too big a gap between Zim and Godfrey and a lot of free headers in our box. We miss the cover Tettey gives the defence. The worst thing though was the return of the dreaded zonal marking which saw us concede the first goal and nearly concede again from a free kick later in the first half. It doesn’t work, I thought we had ditched it. I don’t understand why it was back tonight.

Anyway a win is a win and onwards to Wembley we go!
