Varying degrees of success but I think most of us would agree those have all been at least useful squad members and at times important in the first team. That’s pretty good going for only just over a year isn’t it? Finding that many players with such little money who’ve all proven that they are at least decent.

I’m confident that Krul will join that list, as will Rhodes (then we buy him after the loan).

Then at the same time a new management team also trusts the existing youth players enough to manage the bringing through of Maddison, Lewis, Godfrey, Thompson, cantwell and Aarons. That’s not as easy as just chucking them in the team. Each one seems to be carefully managed according to who and where they are in their development. And they seem to ALL be useful players.

As said below we’ve had our duds. Watkins, Franke, husband. Who knows - maybe Marshall could join that list but hopefully he’ll join the first list.

That’s pretty successful isn’t it? Ok. Then you need them to get playing together. But now we can see that coming on nicely.
