An excellent win, feels like its coming together

Defence looks settled. Cannot believe what a difference to the balance of the whole side sorting the full backs has made. The two full backs are the key to this side right now of no doubt. Krul also is beginning to be a calming presence.

Special mentions though also to Pukki who is one hell of a player/finisher, Stiepermann who is also adding to the balance and Buendia who is getting better and better. It makes a real difference to be able to bring the likes of Cantwell into a side that is playing with a bit of confidence so they can do their thing and although i don;t think the wide role suits him he did well tonight.

With Vrancic coming back well and McClean to return the squad looks very decent with perhaps the only hole being a lack of pace to cover for Hernandez.

If I can be a little bit greedy and hyper critical though I would like to see us making the most of our superiority in games more often. We are good enough to open teams up and its frustrating to see how easily we do it when we up the tempo after teams score or equalise against us. Please can we just do it to open up a two or three goal cushion occasionally rather than getting one ahead and then making it tense. I can;t really recall us having a comfortable cushion in any game under Farke apart from the last couple of minutes against Preston so that should be something to aim for!
